What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Marrying the love of my life Colleen. My family, 4 kids and 13 grandkids. Christmas is always a lot of fun. That is an achievement in itself. With work. Landing 13 contracts in one day with the City of Aurora, Colorado Housing Authority. A $250,000.00 contract to complete asphalt work and concrete work for the apartment complexes they have. That was awesome. Then the same year late in the year landing a $325,000.00 contract in October for an apartment complex in Thornton, Colorado. 2 inch overlay on the entire complex. We finished it in 2 weeks. Threw everything we had at the job and got paid two weeks after completion. The owners were thrilled with the work and how well I planned the job out and got it completed so fast so late in the year.

What is your favorite town/city in the world? Why?

Buena Vista, Colorado. Small town charm with great restaurants and lots to do. Fishing, hiking, Mount Princeton Hot Springs pool, Arkansas River where you can raft and fish. The mountain air and the Pine trees in the morning with a cup of coffee. Lighting a fire in the firepit at night looking up at the stars. Peaceful, quiet, the Collegiate Peaks mountain range and the Coyote Cantina Restaurant for breakfast that makes the best breakfasts with a pancake as big as your head. How can you beat that?

What is one exotic country you would like to visit? What you would do there?

Italy. My daughter just returned from there and said it was amazing. They booked a flight on for $499.00 round trip air and stayed at airbnb’s and had an awesome time. Flew direct to Venice from San Antonio. The pictures she sent were amazing. The history, the museums, the food all sound wonderful to me. I have not been over the pond yet and my wife and I are planning our next trip that way. We just got back from the Mayan Riviera and that was so beautiful. The beaches, the Tulum Mayan Ruins, that was an awesome trip. All inclusive 5 star resort right on the beach with 2 swim up pool bars, fantastic food and a great room with palm trees swaying off of our balcony. We went zip lining through the jungle, swam in cenotes’ and we just thoroughly enjoyed it all.
