To ensure Sunland vehicles are safe and road ready, our drivers are required to do a thorough vehicle inspection before leaving the yard each day.  Sunland supervisors conduct random gate inspections twice per week.  In the month of June, Luis Lomas and Ricardo Madrid were inspected six times with a perfect score!  Last week, Luis and Ricardo were recognized for their excellence in safety.

Luis Lomas is a Foreman and has been with Sunland since September 2013.  Ricardo Madrid is an Operator and has been with Sunland since March 2013.  Each employee received a plaque, a commemorative Safety Coin, a new reflective vest and lunch with Phoenix Division Manager, Ken Estrada!
