The proposed roadway improvements include the reconstruction of the existing El Mirage Road to two (2) lanes of travel in each direction with intermediate raised medians extending from approximately 1,500 FT South of Peoria Avenue to Cactus Road (1-1/2 Mile of roadway reconstruction). This project will include intersection improvements at Peoria Avenue and Cactus Road. The proposed roadway improvements include, but are not limited to, asphalt/concrete paving, curb & gutter, sidewalk, driveway connections, raised landscaped medians, stormwater management facilities, utility relocations, traffic signals and signing, as well as thermal striping.
