Sunland Asphalt was selected as a winner of the 2014 Arizona Transportation Partnering Excellence Award for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) SR-264, Tuba City Window Rock Highway project.

The ADOT SR-264, Tuba City Window Rock Highway project was a 12.80 mile long pavement preservation project along SR-264 from the Town of Steamboat to West of Burnside Junction. Our team navigated several challenges including traffic safety, guardrail removal/installation, environmentally sensitive areas, weather and timely communication due to the remote location of the project.

This is the first Arizona Transportation Partnering Excellence Award for Sunland Asphalt. Our team will be presented the award during the 64th Annual Roads & Streets Conference on Friday, April 3rd, 2015 in Tucson, Arizona.
